BHUBANESWAR:
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Jibesh Kishore Sundaray would contest against Biju
Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the ensuing
General Election 2014, said a Press release issued by the party here on Sunday.
Sundaray, an executive member of the
Annapurna Theatre and editor-in-chief of an Odia weekly magazine ‘Ama Khabar’, said
that he took the decision to show the public anger against Patnaik who
maintained silence over loot of mineral resources in the State.
The AAP candidate said
Patnaik-led BJD Government ruled the State for 14 years continuously, but failed
to deliver as per the aspirations of the people of the State. The AAP will
bring Swaraj and give power in the hand of the common men, he added.
