BJP, CPI (M) protests petrol hike

Berhampur: Ganjam branch of BJP and CPI (M) organized different protest meetings near Komapalli and Goodshed road in the city respectively to give solidarity with the voice against petrol hike by the central government on Saturday.
The workers of BJP criticized the government for its anti-people behavior. They demanded in the meeting led by President of BJP for Ganjam district Bijaya Kumar Swain for the withdrawal of the decision of petrol hike. They alleged that the government failed to control the price rise, for which the common people are suffering a lot.
The meeting was attended by former deputy speaker Ramachandra Panda, Captain Utsav Sabat, Sunil Sahu with other BJP workers of the city.
While Ganjam branch of CPI (M) organized an agitation at Goodshed road near petroleum depot protesting petrol hike by central government. Hundreds of supporters along with the party workers were attended the protest meeting organized by the parties.
