Berhampur: You may call it as a fashion or to build good relation, but it was very amazing to see the friendly cricket match between Media eleven and District Administration eleven of Ganjam district on Saturday. The match was played in the Berhampur stadium, where Media eleven lost the friendly cricket T-20 match to District Administration eleven.
The media persons of different media houses were taken part in the match and encouraged their fellows to do better in the match while the senior bureaucrats and officials of Ganjam district were taken part in the match to give weight to cheer up their fellow officers in the T20 match. Media eleven led by Reporter of a city based cable TV channel UTV, Sudeep Sahu and District Administration eleven led by Sub-collector of Berhampur Ajit Mishra met in the stadium at 9 am.
Media XI won the toss and chose fielding first. District Administration XI ended up the innings in 206 by 6 wickets while Media eleven chased the bureaucrats and ended the innings in 201 runs in 20 over.
