BHUBANESWAR: In a bid to strengthen
the youth wing of BJD, Biju Yuva Janata Dal with the recommendation of party
supremo Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday declared the new office bearers and district
presidents of the youth wing.
According to the new list, Satya
Jena was selected as vice president of the BYJD while Debesh Acharya, Pranab
Balabantaray, PP Rath, Marut Kumar Pal and Manabhanjan Behera was inducted as
general secretary of the wing. Thirteen persons were introduced as secretary of
BYJD and five persons were taken in the party as organisational secretary, said
a party release.
The BYJD also declared the names of
its district presidents. The names of district presidents are- Bijay Kumar
Behera for Cuttack, Romanch Ranjan Biswal- Deogarh, Subash Chandra Jena-
Sambalpur, Mukund Gouda- Brahmapur city, Jaykrushna Das Mohapatra- Puri,
Dharmendra Adhikary- Koraput, Nirod Ray-Malkangiri, Binayak Kar- Rayagada, Bhanu
Pratap Singh- Nuapada, Pradip Kumar Pradhan- Kandhamal, Ramesh Chandra Sahu-
Nayagarh and Girija Prasad Mohanty-
Dhenkanal.
Besides, the party has given rest
to Ranjit Mohapatra and Amar Nayak as vice presidents and Rashmi Ranjan Kanungo
as secretary, said BYJD spokesperson Bijay Nayak.
