BHUBANESWAR:
The Congress on Saturday announced its first list of candidates for nine Lok
Sabha seats in the State. The Congress Central Election Committee published the
names in New Delhi, party sources
said.
The candidates are noted film
actor Bijay Mohanty for Bhubaneswar LS seat, film actress Aparajita Mohanty for
Cuttack, Chandrasekhar Sahu for Brahmapur, Sudhir Samal for Dhenkanal,
Sucharita Mohanty for Puri, Giridhari Gamang for Koraput, Madhab Sardar for
Keonjhar, Sarat Patnaik for Balangir and Ashok Das for Jajpur seat.
