The case of Tuesday’s triple murder at Chamakhandi near here took a new turn when brother of the deceased Nilima alleged that it was a preplanned murder.
He said accused Hadibandhu Dora had extramarital relationship with the wife of a cousin who was living with him on the upper floor of the house. He also alleged that Hadibandhu had given `2 lakh for the wedding of his new fiance’s daughter. The murder was planned to clear the way for a second marriage, brother of the deceased said.
Hadibandhu, who is a security guard at the Indian Rare Earth (IRE) near Chhatrapur, killed his wife Nilima (45) along with with his two sons Jagannath Dora (28) and Chikunu Dora (14) when they were going to sleep after dinner and then surrendered himself at the Chamakhandi Police Station on Tuesday. Primary investigations revealed that the horrendous act came to happen after continued family dispute.
After surrender Hdibandhu admitted to his crime. Chamakhandi OIC Arpita Khatua said they were looking to every possible angle of the case.
