Mission Shakti employees against Govt decision

Mission Shakti employees against Govt decision

…. CM’s district has axed first

Berhampur: The Mission Shakti Employees Union (MSEU) of Ganjam district opposed the state Government’s decision of handing over the charge of Mission Shakti to a private NGO on Sunday here.

Mission Shakti is a developmental organization which is created history of changing the life of rural women and empowering them in the economic level for more than five years. During the time of Director Aparajita Sarangi, it was a huge success in Ganjam, said the Union.

To speed up the programme, state government appointed women representatives as MPW and SMS in the district level. But the handing over of the organization created terror among the employees that they will lose their job.

So they demanded at the Government to withdraw the decision of privatizing. The MSEU also cautioned the Govt as if the Govt won’t listen to their demands, they will start state wise agitation against the Government, the MSEU cautioned.
