Support for Swami Ramdev from Ganjam
….a massive indefinite dharana has begun in Berhampur
Berhampur: A massive Dharna organized by Bharat Swabhiman and Patanjali Yoga Trust(PYT) of Ganjam urging the Union Government to accept the demand of Swami Ramdev in front of the Tehsil office on Saturday here.
Hundreds of men and women from different walk of life participated in the dharna in the city and urged the Union Government to accept the demand of Swami Ramdev to recover black money stashed in the foreign banks and take other measures to check corruption and improve the living condition of the Indian farmers.
There are 275 members from Bharat Swabhiman, PYT of Ganjam, Berhampur Nagarika Mancha, Vidyarthi Parishad, Viswa Hindu Parishad(VHP) and others were participated in the Dharana. This indefinite dharana started from June 4 wikll continue till Government accepts the demand, said veteran leader Ramachandra Panda.
Among others, treasurer of PYT Gaurishankar Patro, VHP member Prof Ramesh Tripathy, former Deputy Speaker Ramachandra Panda, Advocate Kiran Kant Panigrahy, Swami Chinmayananda, Youth leader Sitaram Patro, Govinda Das, Viswanath Biswal, Sanjukta Prusty were participated in the indefinite dharana.
