Berhampur Book fair opened



Berhampur: To enlighten the ignited minds, Book fair is the right place where a person meet different book in a particular place. Book, which is also called as friend, guide and pathfinder of knowledge for a person is now in the Silk City. The much awaited annual book fair is opened from Saturday.
Berhampur Book fair is inaugurated by Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) Laxmi Narayana Nayak on Saturday with the presence of litterateurs’ of the state. The Book fair is started its ceremony in the Church ground near Telephone Bhavan road.
There are eighty stalls of different books include fiction and non-fiction, Entertainment & Leisure, Business & Finance, Hobbies, Special Interest, General Interest, Health & Living and others. The Book fair committee has different activities to start from tomorrow onwards along with quiz competition by Chanda Bijoyee Mishra and literary discussions by different literature academies of the Ganjam district. The 12 day long Book fair will end by a colourful night with different programmes.
On the first day of Book fair, the day of inauguration was graced by renowned writer of the State Das Benahur, Secretary of State Sahitya Academy Bijay Patnaik, Dainik Asha Editor Pramod Kumar Panda and others.
