Cine stars hit campaign trails on last day



--Raveena, Neil Nitin, Mahasweta, Babusan, Pinki to name few

BHUBANESWAR: Bollywood and Ollywood stars hit the campaign trails for Assembly candidates at different places in the State on Tuesday, the last day for the second-phase campaigning.

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh attended a road show for BJD candidate for Bhubaneswar North Assembly seat Priyadarshi Mishra and urged people to vote for Mishra in large numbers. Besides, he also attended meetings for Mishra.

“I came here to attend campaign rallies following an invitation from Mishra. I was very pleased to see people’s response to our road show,” said Mukesh.

Similarly, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon campaigned in Champua for BJD candidate Tattwa Prakash Satpathy (Papu Pompom) calling him her ‘brother’.

Besides, Ollywood stars Mahasweta Ray, Anubhav Mohanty, Siddhant Mohapatra and Mihir Das campaigned for BJD candidates at various places.

In Cuttack, Odia film actor Babushan attended road shows and election rallies to urge the voters to vote in favour of his actress-mother Congress candidate for Cuttack Lok Sabha seat Aparajita Mohanty.
Veteran actor of Odia film industry and Congress candidate for Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat Bijay Mohanty also went door to door seeking votes.

Ollywood actors Pintu Nanda and Sunil and actress Pinki Pradhan who joined the BJP recently hit the campaign trail for their party candidates at different places.
