BHUBANESWAR:
Miscreants attacked Gangster Raja Acharya’s younger brother Deepak on Monday
night at Nageswartangi area in the city. Grievously injured Deepak was admitted
in a private hospital.
According to Deepak, six motorbike-borne
miscreants came and suddenly attacked him without saying any reason. More than
ten parts of the body were injured due to the attack. He was rushed to the Capital
Hospital first and then shifted to
a private hospital in the city for further treatment.
Deepak said the attackers might
be belonging to Nageswartangi area, but he does not know their names. “I can
recognise the faces of miscreants,” he said, adding, “Why the persons attacked
me I don’t know.”
The police are investigating into
the matter. Though the actual reason of the attack is yet to come up, previous
animosity or land issue might be the reason behind the attack, sources
said.
