BHUBANESWAR:
The Commissionerate Police on Wednesday discussed with the owners and managers about
ensuring safety and security in their hotels and lodges in the twin city.
Commissioner
of Police (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack) Dr RP Sharma reviewed the security measures and
discussed in detail about the hoteliers and lodge owners whether they
implemented the previous directions of the police or not. The police will issue
notice to the owners of hotels and lodges those who didn’t implement the
security directions, he added.
Dr
Sharma again said the owners to collect information regarding anti-social
elements, criminals and persons with terror-links visiting or checking in to
their hotels and lodges. He also stressed on regulation of entry and exit of
people and vehicles in hotels, ensuring proper security measures, installing of
CCTV cameras and verification of character and antecedents of hotel employees
and security guards deployed at these places.
