MLA’s abduction, a well-planned drama: Students’ Congress


BHUBANESWAR: Abduction of Laxmipur MLA Jhina Hikaka by the Maoists was a well-planned drama, alleged Odisha Pradesh Students’Congress in a Press statement here on Saturday.

The students’ body questioned the ruling party that how BJD formed Zill Parishad in Koraput with the support of a banned outfit Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh of most wanted leader Nachika Linga. In every incident, generally Maoists kidnap the leaders by attacking drivers and PSOs of the leaders, but in this case the Maoists did not attack them mysteriously, it added.

“What was the 10-point charter of demands of CMAS when it had given support to form ZP in Koraput,” questioned the students’ body in the statement. Students’ Congress president Chinmoy Kumar Sahu alleged that the Government has created this drama to divert the Matric examination question paper theft case from people’s mind.
