Body of Odia jawan from Gadchiroli reaches
BHUBANESWAR: An Odia youth from Baleswar district, who was a CRPF jawan, was killed in a landmine blast in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra on Tuesday along with his other colleagues. He was identified as Biswajeet Barik of Dwanda village of Basta block in Baleswar district.
Biswajeet had joined as a jawan in CRPF two years ago and the first posting place was Nagpur in Maharashtra. On the day of the incident, he was returning to his camp with his colleagues after attending a special commando training.
On Wednesday evening Biswajeet’s body was received at Biju Patnaik Airport and last tribute was given to him.
