110 buses to ply from city for Ratha Yatra


BHUBANESWAR: Preparation for Ratha Yatra almost completed as thousands of devotees would come Puri to see the world famous car festival of lord Jagannath. Earlier, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced running of 60 special trains to cater to the demand for the June 21 Rath Yatra. Like that, around 110 buses would ply from the capital city to reduce the rush of the devotees on the occasion.

In this juncture, 70 private buses, 24 OSRTC buses and 12 Dream Team Sahara city buses would ply for the purpose. The devotees can enjoy the bus service facilities not only for the first day of the Ratha Yatra, but also for the day of the Sunabesh, Niladri Bije and Bahuda Yatra. If needed, the bus owners would think about plying of extra buses to provide bus service for the devotees.
