BHUBANESWAR: A student of a city-based private engineering college Chiranjeevi Kalita who went missing from the college from Saturday was found from his own home at Guwahati in Assam. The student alleged that he was kidnapped by some miscreants, while the Commissionerate Police are investigating into the matter whether the student was kidnapped or not.
The student informed that he was
kidnapped from Sainik school area. According to Kalita he felt unconscious when
kidnappers attacked to take him into the car. When he got conscious, he found
five people were with him and he did not know anyone of them, Kalita added.
After the missing of Kalita, a
resident of Guwahati in Assam,
a case was registered under Infocity police station here by the college hostel
authorities on Sunday. He is a second-year student of MSc in bio-technology of
the private engineering college in the city. Police are investigating into the
matter.
