‘Future will be better if India takes lead’

BHUBANESWAR: “I am happy to be a part of Brahmakumaris institution, which gives a new horizon to establish peace and fraternity in the world. We feel, the future of the world will be better if India takes the lead,” said international peace and spiritual activist Australian Maureen Chen while introducing the ‘Future of Power’ project in a Press Meet at Om Niwas here on Friday.

A project ‘Future of Power’ an initiative of the Brahma Kumaris of World Spirituality University, which aims to bring together on a neutral platform both international and Indian leaders to find ways to develop their individual and collective strategies in modeling responsible leadership now and for the future.

“The motive is to make our people of India aware that they are going to be very powerful in the future as they were in the past. However, in order to take full advantage of this power they need to be responsible in the way in which they handle power, because responsibility means they have to bring spirituality back into their lives. So they can look up instead of down, because only India which able to have power of 2,500 years that was completely soft power and I’m wishing her to bring back that power,” said initiator and host of ‘Future of Power’ project and an industrialist of Kenya Nizar Juma to The Pioneer.

Brahma Kumaris of Bhubaneswar branch is going to organise a huge gathering of thought leaders from media, business, education, arts and heath among other fields, where the leaders from the state and abroad will discuss on ‘Future of Power’ which will be launched on Saturday.
