5th day of PLGA week
MALKANGIRI /BARGADA: Moaist torched a truck at Jharamunda of Bargada district and exploded a mobile tower in Mathili area of Malkangiri district on Tuesday to mark their PLGA week.
On the 5th day of observance of PLGA week on Tuesday, Red forces created terror circumstance by blocking the roads putting fallen trees from Bargada to Malkangiri to make their presence felt. Transportation and communication was hit due to the road blockade in different places from Padmapur to Nuapada of Bargada district, while the torching of the truck near Jharmunda and Mao posters at different places of Paikamala area left the residents in panicky.
On the other side, 40-50 Maoists exploded a mobile tower at Mathili area. As it was the second time, on the day one they had exploded a BSNL mobile tower at Baipariguda of Malkangiri district. Due to this Bandh call by Maoists, vehicular traffic was nil and the business establishments, shops and market were closed on the fifth day of PLGA week.
