Cong to follow one ticket per family formula in State

BHUBANESWAR: Congress would follow its much-touted ‘one ticket per family’ formula for the coming State Assembly poll in 2014, said Congress’ Odisha-in-charge Jagdish Tytler here on Saturday during his one-day Odisha visit. He also informed that the two-time defeated candidates won’t get ticket to contest in the coming election.

Tytler has reviewed the list of the candidates from different districts of the State. He is collecting all the data about the Assembly constituencies from the respective district presidents. He has already gathered data of 90 Assembly constituencies in the State.

Tytler would finish his data collection by this March end and submit before Congress high-command Sonia Gandhi. The 2014 Assembly election would not be the family affair, he added.
