Three CMAS members arrested from Narayanpatna



JEYPORE: Three active members of Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangha (CMAS), including bodyguard of CMAS chief Nachika Linga, were arrested by the joint forces of BSF and Odisha police during combing operation in Narayanpatna area of Koraput, said the local police on Friday.

The arrested persons were identified as Wadeka Sarbu, Wadeka Siku and Wadeka Jiku of Bhaliaput village under Narayanpatna police station in the district. The joint forces arrested them from Podapadar area near Bhaliaput village. The local police forwarded them to the Laxmipur JMFC court on Friday morning. When the court denied them bail, they were sent to Koraput jail, police sources said.

The local people are in panicky due to combing operation in the inter area of the Narayanpatna block, sources said.
