Samata Kranti Dal gets ‘scissor’ symbol

BHUBANESWAR: The Samata Kranti Dal (SKD) has got ‘scissor’ as its symbol to contest in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls this year following the party’s registration with the Election Commission of India (ECI) on September 16.
SKD chief and former Union Minister Brajkishore Tripathy unveiled his party symbol ‘scissor’ at a Press meet here on Saturday. Tripathy said the SKD would try to bring corruption down in the State. The party would take decisive role in the fast approaching General Election, he addded.

Last month, the ECI had given ‘kite’ to Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) ‘torchlight’ and ‘candle’ symbols to the Samruddha Odisha and the Koshal Kranti Morcha, respectively.
