Sri Sri University launches MA course in Governance


BHUBANESWAR: Sri Sri University (SSU) on Sunday formally launched Master degree in Good Governance and Public Policy (MGGPP), a two-year course, under Faculty of Good Governance and Public Policy (FGGPP) of the university in 2014-16 academic sessions. 

The FGGPP of the SSU intends to create ethical professionals who can be the future CSR managers in corporate, NGO leaders, political leaders, administrators, public relation managers, visionary policy think tank of the world. The students passing out from the MGGPP will be absorbed by political parties, Government agencies, corporate sector and NGOs.

In the course of two years, the graduates will acquire adequate career skills and competencies which are invaluable for them. The Faculty also proposes to do conduct certificate programmes for government officers, journalists, political leaders, CSR managers of Corporate and NGO, women self-help groups for socio-economic empowerment.

Meanwhile, SSU’s founder spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar would visit the State on Monday and attend an annual conclave of a local TV channel. He would meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to discuss on some issues, said the SSU sources.
