BHUBANESWAR:
A visually handicapped (VH) candidate on Tuesday moved the Odisha High Court
against the State Government for not providing him a writer during a
competitive examination in the State.

Senapati had appeared a competitive examination for Supply Inspector post
conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently. He had asked for a
writer during the examination according to the provision of the law, but he was
not given at that time for which he could not write in the examination.
Senapati filed a petition against
seven people including Chief Secretary of the State, SSC chairman and the
departmental secretary seeking compensation for his loss.
