AAP launches ‘Jhaadu Chalao’ Yatra in State

BHUBANESWAR: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday launched State-wide ‘Jhaadu Chalao’ Yatra to sensitise the people about the need of a political alternative for the State.

During the block and district level Yatra, the AAP members and supporters would make the people aware about the State Government’s hand in Mining scam, Chit-fund scam and its failure to check agricultural crisis, farmer suicide, violence against women and deterioration of law and order in the State.

According to AAP State coordinator Nishikant Mohapatra, they would also invite the people to join their party freely. “We will bring alternative option to check corruption in the State,” said Mohapatra, adding, “Now we have more than two lakh members in the State and it will go up after the Yatra.”

The Yatra will be culminated on February 13 at the Lower PMG in the city. AAP national leader Yogendra Yadav would address the party workers on the day of the culmination of the Yatra, AAP party sources said.
