Srikant to lead Cong’s Odisha campaign committee



BHUBANESWAR: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Thursday formed a 24-member State Congress campaign committee to oversee the party preparations for the ensuing Assembly and the General Elections. The AICC appointed Union Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Srikant Jena as the chairman of the campaign committee, party sources said.
 
The other members of the committee were Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Jaydev Jena, leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh, Kalahandi MP Bhakta Das, Lalatendu Vidyadhar Mohapatra, Rajya Sabha MP Ranjib Biswal, Opposition Chief Whip Prasad Harichandan, Narasingha Mishra, Sarat Patnaik, Nabarangpur MP Pradeep Majhi, Sushila Tiria, Kanhu Charan Lenka, Chandrasekhar Sahu, Amar Pradhan, Jagannath Patnaik, Kishore Patel, Matlub Alli, Naba Das, Prafulla Majhi, Rama Chandra Khuntia and chiefs of the youth wing, student wing, women wing and Seba Dal of the PCC.
