--11 nodal centres opened for OJEE

BHUBANESWAR: Matric supplementary
examination result would be declared at the Secretariat here after 10.30am on
Friday, while the result would be published online after 2pm on the same day,
informed School and Mass Education Minister Rabi Narayan Nanda.
“The students could get their mark
sheets and certificates on August 3,” said Nanda, adding, “Meanwhile, we have
informed the Higher Education department to keep some seats in the colleges for
the passed out students of the supplementary examination.”
Notably, 60,000 students had
appeared the examination in the State.
On Thursday, 11 nodal centres have
been opened in the State for OJEE’s second phase counselling for the courses of
engineering, MBA, MCA, PGDM and PGCM. Out of the total 11 nodal centres, OJEE
opened eight in Bhubaneswar and three in Cuttack for document verification and
choice locking. The counseling would continue till July 29, said the OJEE
officials. On the other hand, the medical counseling for 850 MBBS seats and 150
BDS seats ended on Thursday.
