BHUBANESWAR: The State Government
would sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 15 empanelled private hospitals
on Friday to avail treatment facility for the poor of the State under the
Odsiha State Treatment Fund (OSTF) at the private hospitals referred by the
State Government.
The State Government on May 7 this
year accorded referral hospital tag to as many as 21 private medicals where
below poverty line (BPL) category patients can avail treatment under the OSTF.
Notably, persons from BPL families and
persons with income less than Rs 40,000 in rural area and Rs 60,000 in urban
area suffering from serious diseases are given financial assistance up to Rs 3
lakh under the OSTF scheme.
