BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Joint
Entrance Examination (OJEE) on Wednesday started second phase counseling as around
29,000 engineering seats still lie vacant in several colleges across the State.
On July 12, the OJEE published
provisional list of the engineering counselling. Out of the total 45, 677 seats
at various engineering colleges in the State, only 19,647 students had locked
choice and finally around 16,000 students took admission this year.
“As we have many vacant seats in
various colleges, we conducted the second phase counselling to fill the vacant
seats,” said OJEE secretary Priyabrata Sahu.
