+2 spot admission date extended


BHUBANESWAR: Balance seat (Spot) admission date was extended to August 25 and the admission into +2 classes will be taken up from August 21 to 25 at the college level from the merit list, according to the memo sent by the Department of Higher Education to the junior colleges in the State.

The applicants who were selected during the 1st selection but could not take admission due to various reasons can register their names and the applicants who have not been selected during 1st selection can also register their names for the spot admission.

The interested eligible applicants out of the merit list shall register their name to consider them spot admission. The registration shall be accepted at the colleges on August 23 upto 2pm. The colleges would shortlist the candidates as per merit and publish the list of applicants selected for spot admission by 5pm on August 23 in the college notice board. The spot admission shall be completed on August 25, the memo said.

On the other hand, the students who have been selected in the SC/ST extension seat selection could not take admission on August 18 may be allowed to take admission till August 25.
