BHUBANESWAR: Former Law Minister Narasingha Mishra on Tuesday in a letter urged Union Railway Minister Mukul Ray to set up of the proposed railway wagon factory and hospital at Kantabanji in Balangir district. The establishment of the factory would check the migration of labour from the district, advocated Mishra in his letter.
In Railway budget-2010, former
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee had given the proposal and for the purpose
around 540 acres of land were reserved. There is no problem to set up the
factory, said Mishra.
