Anti-corruption body inaugurates its Puri branch


BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Durneeti Sangharsa Mancha (ODSM), an ant-corruption body working in the State, has opened a branch in Puri to help the common people of the district in case they are harassed in getting justice from the Government and other institutions. The branch was inaugurated by Jagadguru Shankaracharyajee Nischalananda Saraswati at Puri Youth Hostel on July 29.

Jagadguru praised the efforts of the Manch in fighting out corruption. He said the road to fight corruption has many hurdles and it is required to fight out corruption with the united efforts of all such organisations. He further observed that the present Constitution of India does not contain the vedic and cultural values, as a result, instead of Ram Rajya the people are fighting with each other groups, society, State for financial, political and personal benefit.

ODSM president Uma Charan Mishra presided over the inauguration ceremony. Among others, ODSM General Secretary Er Jagabandhu Sarangi, Juba Manch coordinator Subrat Tripathy and newly elected office bearers of the working committee of Puri branch. The Manch has so far opened nine branches in the State.
