--Why Govt maintains silence to conduct raid on non Odia business firms: K’ Sena
BHUBANESWAR:
“The State Government has started Odia entrepreneur hunt by using Vigilance and
Crime Branch police, but failed to take exemplary action against the non-Odia
business firms which is completely against the State’s interest,” said Kalinga
Sena supremo Hemant Rath here on Monday.
Rath said the non-Odia
businessmen, builders and industrialists were doing monopoly in the State from
the independence of the country as there were a few Odia counterparts at that
time. When a good number of entrepreneurs came to the market with their hard
work and started controlling the business and few industries in the State by
challenging the non-Odias which helped to boost the economy of the State, they
got trapped by the State owned investigative agencies, he added.
He alleged that Naveen Patnaik,
who hates Odia language, has turned into a death god for the Odia entrepreneurs
and the State owned investigative agencies are roaming around with the death
rope, while he invites the non-Odia industries and business firms to settle in
the State which is very unfortunate, he added.
Rath said the non-Odia
industrialists are looting the natural resources like mines, minerals, water
and lands by destroying the biodiversity of the State in the name of industrial
development, but the poor Odias are silently bearing the charges leveled by the
Government. “Supporting non-Odia entrepreneurs and chocking the throats of Odia
counterparts is not growth but destruction of the entrepreneurial spirit of the
Odias,” Rath said.
“If the Government not stops Odia
entrepreneur hunt, the Sena would start ‘non-Odia Hatao Abhiyan’ and they would
compel the non-Odia looter entrepreneurs to leave the State,” Rath
cautioned.
