BRAHMAPUR: Vigilance has registered case against junior clerk K Dileswar Rao and night watchman Basanta Kumar Gouda of Sub-Registrar office at Aska for demand of illegal gratification Rs 600 from complainant Yunus Sarif of College Square at Katinada under Aska block of Ganjam district for issue of encumbrance certificate.
According to the Vigilance officials of Berhampur Division, Night Watchman of the said office Basanta received the bribe amount Rs 600 from the complainant Yunus as per the direction of clerk Rao. They were caught in vigilance net on Wednesday. Vigilance police arrested them and forwarded to court.
