BHUBANESWAR: The Kalinga Sena, a regional outfit originated from the State, would open its units in 11 States in the country, said Sena Supremo Hemant Rath at a Press meet here on Sunday. Bhumihar Brahmin Mahasabha senior leader Sirish Kumar Sandilya was appointed as the first national general secretary of the party.
Rath said the people of the
country are looking back towards regional parties instead of national-level
leaders involved in various forms of corruption and self-centered party
politics. In this scenario, their party would give emphasis to protect the
interest of the people of the country, he added.
In its first phase, the party
would open its units in Delhi,
Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West
Bengal, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya
Pradesh, Chhatishgarh and Assam,
informed Sena’s national general secretary Sandilya. He said the party would
start campaigning to set up a ‘Sabarna Commission’ all over the country to
protect the interest of the Sabarna people.
