Two Maoists arrested in Koraput

JEYPORE: Two Maoists were arrested on Friday during a special operation in Koraput district, police said. They were involved in over a dozen different criminal cases in the region.

The Maoists duo Setu Kendruka and Naga Kendruka were nabbed from a forest near Chitraguda in Narayanpatna area during the search operation, police said.

The two were involved in an attack on Narayanpatna police station. They were engaging themselves in supply of explosive materials to the Maoists, sources said.
