BHUBANESWAR: Yoga guru and anti-corruption activist Baba Ramdev on Saturday visited the capital city to get public support from the State for his fasting and dharna at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on August 9, Baba is visiting different places of the country and the capital city of the State one among them.
Following the arrival of Yoga
guru Baba Ramdev, the workers and members of the Bharat Swabhiman and the Patanjali
Yoga Samiti received him with rousing welcome. Ramdev joined in a meeting
organised by the Samiti in the city.
Baba said the mines looters have
looted the resources of the State. “They are looting mines, forest, water and
land from the State. Odisha is not a poor State as it is rich in natural
resources, but due to some mafias and conspirators, the resources are rapidly
decreasing,” Baba added. He called upon the public of the State to support his
fast and dharna on August 9 in New Delhi.
