BHUBANESWAR: A couple committed suicide by hanging them in a rope on the outskirts of the city on Monday. Due to acute poverty, the daily labourer couple chose the way to end their life, sources said.
They were identified as Naru
Behera and Sapna Pradhan of Sishupalgarh area on the outskirts of the city.
Naru, who was a daily labourer, got married to Sapna eight months ago. Naru’s
father-in-law said that they had little argument over a matter, but it would
end in a suicide he didn’t expect.
The police recovered the body and
sent that for autopsy. The police are investigating into the matter.
