--irate youths stop Dhali’s workers’ meet
BHUBANESWAR:
Parental dispute entangled MLA Arabind Dhali faced peoples’ anger during his
visit to his Jayadev Assembly Constituency on the suburbs of the
capital city on Sunday. The irate youths of the constituency stopped the
constituency workers’ meet called by Dhali.
According to some
youths of Balianta, Dhali had camped here from one day before to organise the
party workers’ meet. On Sunday, the party workers started the meeting with the
presence of MLA Dhali. When the party proceeding started, some youths came to
the stage and forced the workers to stop the meeting, sources said.
The raged local
youths asked the MLA to answer their questions about development in the area.
How many problems he has solved within his term, the youths asked. The people
of the constituency alleged that Dhali failed to address the core issues of his
constituency from the day he was elected.
It may be noted
that MLA Dhali was entangled in the famous parental row in the State. Sanchita,
a young woman, recently has demanded DNA test of the MLA which would bring the
truth whether the MLA is her father or not. Now the case is subjudice in the
High Court.
