Congress leaders call upon workers to oust Naveen Govt


PARLAKHEMUNDI: “Time has come to oust the Naveen Government who takes the credit of implementing different schemes in the name of Biju babu by using Central funds,” said Pradesh Congress Committee president Niranjan Patnaik while addressing the Congress workers of Gajapati district during the observance of third death anniversary of former MLA Trinath Sahu here on Monday.

Patnaik called upon the Congress workers to come forward and work unitedly for the party. To strengthen the party, the workers and organising committee members should work from the grassroots level to tackle the other parties in the next election, he added. Gracing the occasion, former Union Minister Chandrasekhar Sahu said the party workers and supporters should help each other in different organisational works forgetting small tête-à-tête.

Hundreds of Congress workers and supporters were present in the public meeting after completing a procession in the town. Among others, leaders like Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Bikram Panda, Mohana MLA Chakradhar Paika, Bhagaban Gantayat and Dasarathi Gamango were present.
