RCM College wins Model UN Contest


BHUBANESWAR: City-based Regional College of Management (RCM) has topped the prestigious Model United Nations contest organised by the OYSS (Odisha Yuva Sanskrutik Sansad) Women for the year 2012. GM Law College of Puri has bagged the Runners Up award, finishing close second in two events.

Model UN are regarded among the most prestigious academic event anywhere in the world and the OYSS Women Model UN has earned the distinction of finding a place among very few Model UNs across the globe organised exclusively for women students. The contest was held at the coastal town of Puri under the stewardship of OYSS Women founder Manasi Pradhan where 250 students of different elite institutions of the State participated.

The Krupajal Management College in the city has topped the International Press event while RCM has topped in both General Assembly and UN Secretariat event. The Puri based GM Law College has finished close second both in General Assembly and UN Secretariat event while IMT Technical College (Puri) has bagged the commendable performance prize.

The prizes will be given away at a special function in November to be graced by several national dignitaries.
