BRAHMAPUR: A bombardment occurred at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district on Wednesday evening by some ruffians which created terror in the area but no one injured in connection with the incident.
Some ruffians came to Bhanjanagar bus stand by two motorcycles with some live bombs and started bombing near the office of Private Bus Owners’ Association situated near the bus stand after discussing with their colleagues in front of a wine shop there. They have broken some glass bottles and later thrown away six bombs aiming at the bus owners’ office. Three live bombs fell on the office while other bombs found near the office. The Police failed to nab the culprits, whereas other unexploded bombs were recovered from the spot. It is reported that it was the result of old dispute among the owners of the association.
