Students’ strike in Vani Vihar Law College

BHUBANESWAR: Demanding fulfillment of demands, agitated students of University College of Law at Vani Vihar ransacked furniture and other objects within the campus. Alleging suspected behaviour of College authorities, they have called the strike here on Friday.
The angry agitated students have alighted some furniture and they have broken the notice board within the campus. Police reached in the campus and controlled the situation. The students alleged that the authority has not given any consent to their demands.
“Students are witnessing various problems during 6-7 years. We don’t have adequate classrooms, library facilities and other facilities,” said the president of Students’ Union of the college Akash Kumar.
On the other hand, the college authorities refuted the allegation made by the students. They said that they have been providing basic things for their curriculum and everything is all right.
The Students’ Union also warned the authorities to take immediate step to solve the problems in the college; otherwise they will take strong actions to protest the authorities’ inaction.
