BHUBANESWAR: With an aim to promote Eco-tourism in the State of Odisha, Sand Pebbles Tour 'n' Travels, a travel organisation as well as tourist guide in the State, has come forward with its innovative ideas creating a Jungle Resort with capacity of accommodating at least 50 visitors at a time at Bhitarkanika, informed Senior Manager of the Sand Pebbles Dhiren Nayak at a Press meet here on Sunday.
Besides the promotion of the destination and to attract nature loving tourists, it will create awareness about the peace and discipline loving animals of Bhitarkanika, said the organisation. It offers eco friendly cottage, Swiss tent accommodations, better hospitality, scenic boat cruising, bonfire, angling and many more inside Bhitarkanika as part of its Jungle Resort project.
Managing Director of the organisation Alok Moharana said that the Resort is a great idea to promote ecotourism by facilitating the tourists a clear sense of wildlife. They have planned for Tikarpada, Ekakula and Hukitola as the next projects of their Jungle Resort. If they get success from these projects, they will spread the projects to other eco-tourism destinations in the State, he added.
