New guests in Nandankanan

BARANG: The innocent eyes of the newly welcomed Emus were attracting the visitors to the 75 number enclosures in Nandankanan Zoological Park on Sunday. The Zoo authority brought four Emus from a nearby Emu farm, following the death of the Emus in the Zoo.

It may be noted that a male Emu, the last bird of the species at the Nandankanan Zoological Park, died on Saturday while it was under treatment. The bird was the centre of attraction for the visitors at enclosure 75. A team of veterinary doctors was treating the bird for some ailment for the last three days.
