BHUBANESWAR: A youth caught by the members of the Acharya Vihar Unnayan Parishad for allegedly sitting in a compromising position with his girl friend in a car, which was a driving training car, in a public place at Acharya Vihar here on Tuesday.
After getting information about the indecent behaviour in the public place in the street, the members of the Parishad cautioned the lover duo at first. When they didn’t follow the advices from the members, some of them informed the Saheed Nagar police.
Police arrived at the place and took the beau to police station, while the girlfriend of the youth escaped from the place before the police arrive in the spot. Police detained the youth along with another youth, held from the place, in the police station.
“I don’t want to speak anything about it as some of the people misrepresented it,” said the youth. On the other hand, president of the Parishad Rabindranath Das said, “We will not spare the persons who behave indecent in public places in our areas; our colony is not for the valentines.”
