BHUBANESWAR: It was a devil’s night for Subash Behera, an auto driver by profession who committed suicide following an argument with his girl friend Jyoshna Rani Sahu (20), who later committed suicide, at Gangapatna under Chandaka police station limit in the outskirts of the city on Tuesday.
Jyoshna and Subash had six years love before the suicide. In a personal matter, Subash had gone to Jyoshna’s house on Monday night where the argument taken place. According to the family members of Subash, he did not return to house last night and the very next morning the body of Subash found hanging from a Keith tree near the village. After getting the suicide news of her beau, Jyoshna also committed suicide in absence of her family member. When Jyoshna’s mother returned to home after taking bath from village pond in the morning, she found her daughter hanging from fan ceiling of her house.
The Chandaka police reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem. The actual reason could not found out, the police investigation is on. After the investigation the truth will come out.
