CUTTACK: In an unfortunate incident,
one constable attempted self-immolation by pouring kerosene on his body at Police
Reserve Line here on Saturday. He was identified as Suresh Das of Banki area in
Cuttack district.
According to sources, the
constable tried to self-immolate his life by setting his body on fire with the
help of kerosene. Some of his friends rescued him in a critical condition from
his home. The critically injured Das was rushed to the SCB
Medical College Hospital
here. The reason of his self-immolation attempt yet to find out.
