Pyari to Govt employees: Naveen not permanent CM

BHUBANESWAR: Targeting Government employees, who had created problem for supporters of the Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) while coming to the rally venue on October 28 in the capital city, OJM leader Pyari Mohapatra warned them saying that Naveen Patnaik is not the permanent Chief Minister of the State and if any Government employee harass their supporter during Bhawanipatna rally on November 19, they would face consequences.

Mohapatra said that they have collected all the records of the Government officials who had falsely intercepted the rally-bound vehicles in the name of checking on October 28 as a result some vehicles failed to reach at the rally venue on the day. On the coming days, they would collect more records of the officials who would harass the OJM supporters in the future and they would think about them, he added.

“I want to make aware the Government officials that Naveen Patnaik is not the permanent Chief Minister of the State. If the Government officials like MVI, RTO and police obstruct the vehicles of OJM supporters during the Bhawanipatna rally, they would face consequences in future,” said Mohapatra.

Reacting to the statement of Mohapatra, BJD leader Arun Sahu said the OJM leader has reduced his value before the Government officials by making the statement on the Chief Minister.

On the other hand, Biju Janata Dal leaders are busy in preparing the blue-print of the parallel rally at the same town where OJM is organising Kranti Samabesh. The leaders were advised not to leave any BJD worker to the OJM rally. The BJD would organise worker’s meet at all the MLA constituencies in Kalahandi district to motivate the supporters and workers not to attend the OJM rally. Four ministers along with Deputy Chief Whip of the rulling party would organise the people for their rally, sources said.
