MALKANGIRI: A hardcore Maoist, who
was involved with several criminal activities, surrendered before Malkangiri SP
here on Saturday. He was identified as Rajirao Hantal of Phurpadar village of
the tribal dominant district, said the police.
Rajirao, who was working with
Maoist organisations for the last ten years, confessed that he along with other
70 Maoists was involved in Alampaka attack and Essar company fire operation.
Recently, BSF jawans had seized Maoist posters and other materials from
Rajirao’s house during a raid, said the police.
