BHUBANESWAR:
“Indecency and violence against women is increasing in the society,” said the
members of the Kumarbhai founded International Indecency Prevention Movement (IIPrM)
at a rally for women security and decency here on Wednesday.
The members of
the IIPrM came in a procession started from Unit-3 Buddha Vihar and reached the
campus of National School of Decency at Udayagiri. The procession was
inaugurated by National Youth Project director Dr SN Subbarao and Peace Global
Committee Attorney Dr Debadatta Das.
On the
occasion, the organisation awarded Amanda Summerscale of London
with International Kumarbhai Youth Award, while People’s Forum secretary Gobind
Patnaik was awarded as ‘Bhalamanisha Samman’. Among others, IIPrM executive
body member Arundhati Devi, secretary-cum-director Satyabhama Devi, Controller
Rukmini Devi, Cultural Secretary Jayanti Devi and youth member Nirakar Beura
were present.
